Vote YES on Weld County Proposition A

Local 5213 is asking for your vote to help support the Hudson Fire Protection District by increasing their mill levy and bringing emergency medical services in-house. This critical funding will allow Hudson Fire to start its own paramedic ambulance service, ensuring that both the Town of Hudson and the Town of Lochbuie have a dedicated paramedic ambulance available 24/7.

Currently, one ambulance serves the entire district, leading to delays in Lochbuie, Hudson, and surrounding areas. The levy increase will allow Hudson Fire to operate two ambulances, providing 24/7 service. In the near future, Citizens will only be charged for the coverage provided by their insurance, with any remaining costs being waived—eliminating out-of-pocket expenses and ending surprise medical bills from third-party providers. The increase will cost homeowners just $20.85 per year for every $100,000 of home value, still lower than similar districts with ambulance services. A YES vote means faster response times, no unexpected bills, and stronger public safety for our community. Vote YES to support Hudson Fire!

Why is this important

· FASTER RESPONSE TIMES – One ambulance for the entire district causes delays.

· TWO AMBULANCES, TWO TOWNS – The levy will provide 24/7 service for both Hudson & Lochbuie.

· NO OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS – Citizens will only pay what insurance covers.

· END PREDATORY BILLING – No more surprise medical bills from third-party providers.
